It's been a crazy summer so far. Lots of magical moments for me over at the hotel cafe, especially during Garrison Starr's residency. I have really enjoyed playing with GStarr at the head of the ship, Justin Glasco on drums, and Matty D on bass! The song we did together, "Sit With Me" looks like it's going to be placed on a few more TV shows this fall, so that's always exciting for me. Garrison and I have started working on a bunch of new recordings together in anticipation of a full album to be recorded over the next few months. I am dedicating most of August and September to putting together a group of recordings of my own that I've been working on for some time now. The name I've chosen for this side project- The Cold And Lovely- creates a mood to me that is really reflective of these songs. I can't wait to share new music with all of you. It's been a long time since I've had a chance to work on my own material and I'm really looking forward to getting this out!
I've also got a few misc summer gigs with Lindsay Mac and Brie Stoner.

It's also official that I will be on the road most of October and November with the Weepies. Check back for a full list of dates/cities! Chase Bank selected their song "Be My Thrill" for their new add campaign. I played the guitars on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnxyucjG3LY .
The new album is going to be released on Aug 31st. You can already download the first two singles over at iTunes.
